Memorial Day Parade 2009
One of many floats “The VFW, Post 4647 in North Highlands held their annual Memorial Day Parade down Watt Avenue. This years theme was “Land of the free Because of the brave”. Members from California Corvette Club and Just for Corvettes provided our cars to escort dignitaries down the parade route. The VFW post also held a BBQ after the parade. Hotdogs, chips, popcorn, soda and cold beer were provided at “no cost”! Also held at the VFW was a mini car show featuring some of the cars and motorcycles that participated in the parade. Participating in the parade in a great way to show our support for our men and women in uniform and the veterans who served and continue to support our blessed country. God Bless the USA”.
